Welcome to my place

Thanks for popping in for a visit to my corner of the web. Hope you have some time to stay awhile, relax and enjoy checking out the various links on this site. I'm a speaker, teacher, facilitator, writer and storyteller who loves the opportunity to connect with others and share from the heart. Enjoy your visit.

2015 included four weeks of speaking at children's Bible camps as well as several ladies weekend retreats. Another great event was the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association Spring retreat. I had the privilege of speaking on the Saturday afternoon. I also had a busy Toastmaster year with being the District 42 Fall Conference Chair. This conference had attendees from Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as a key not speaker from California and a Toastmasters International Director from Minnesota giving it truly an international flare. I also competed my second year as editor of the District 42 newsletter, Prairie Horizons.

Although I did not publish any new books in 2015, I did have one story put into a new anthology. Chicken Soup for the Soul partnered with the Boniuk Foundation to put together three anthologies to help children struggling with issues such as bullying through a literacy program. They chose stories from other books to put these special books together. My story, Alone, from Think Positive for Kids was chosen.

I am currently booking Speaking and Teaching engagements for the 2016 year. Please check out the speaking tab to see some of the various topics that I speak and teach about. Also feel free to contact me about other types of subjects or topics if you dont happen to see something that necessarily fits for your group. I am always willing to take on new and challenging opportunities. You can also find my contact information under the Speaking or Contact links.
